cut rhubarb in small pieces put in a pot, add 1 quart water. cook until soft. Squeeze through a double thickness cheesecloth. add 1 1/2 cup sugar. stir and heat to boiling point.
add orange juice, lemonjuice, a few grains of salt. chill and serve as is or add some soda water chilled.
