Whip the Crisco until fluffy. Gradually add the sifted powdered sugar and a pinch of salt and water. Makes a stiff frosting.

You can add color either with liquid food color or use Wilton's paste color for a deeper and richer color.
|
|
|
For icing a cake or cookies add another 2-3 tablespoons of water to make it the consistency you desire for spreading.
If you get it too thin, just add more powdered sugar.

|
This will keep indefinitely in the refrigerator. To use just bring to room temperature and whip with a fork or whisk.
