3-6 green peppers
1 lb. ground beef or turkey
1 yellow onion, chopped
1 16-oz. can diced tomatoes, UNDRAINED
1 can tomato soup
half c uncooked rice-NEXT TIME USE 1 cup MINUTE RICE OR COOK 2X LONGER IF USING REGULAR RICE
3 tsp worcestershire sauce
1 AND A HALF cup water, ESP IF NOT USING MINUTE RICE
1 CAN tomato soup
1 SMALL CAN TOMATO SAUCE-POUR HALF IN COOKED MEAT & REST GOES ON TOP OF PEPPERS BEFORE COOKING.
Cut tops off of peppers. Remove seeds and membrane. Cook in boiling, salted water apx. 5 minutes. Lightly salt inside of pepper with Lemon-Pepper. Drain. Set aside.
Brown meat with onion. Drain fat.
Add tomatoes, tomato soup, rice, Worcestershire sauce, lemon-pepper, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and water. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes.
Stuff peppers with meat mixture-do not overflow-keep it neat!
Spray a baking dish with cooking spray. Place peppers in baking dish.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
