Combine sugar, water, corn syrup. Stir over low heat until sugar dissolves. Cook without stirring to light-crack state (270 degrees). Remove from heat. Add vinegar and soda. Mix well. Pour into shallow pan until cool. Then pull- (We were always told to butter our hands to keep the taffy from sticking to our hands.)After taffy is pulled, cooled and ready, cut and roll in powdered sugar.
