After the microwave baked potatoes come out of the microwave, cut the length of the smoked sausage to fir in a hot dog bun. Prick the skins of the sausage and wrap them in paper towels. Microwave on high for 4 - 8 minutes then remove from the oven. Let set for about 5 minutes before unwrapping them. Unwrap the sausages and place one on each bun. Top with your favorite condiments or with warmed sauerkraut.
