Melt butter and chocolate over low heat in a heavy sauce pan. Add milk and stir until blended. Add sugar and beat until smooth. Stir in vanilla. Makes 2 cups
Serve over ice cream, fruit, or Angel food Cake. Keeps well in refrigerator.
This heavenly sauce makes an excellent Christmas gift.
