Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

|
Cut chicken breasts into 1-inch cubes. Place
chicken in a bowl. Combine salt, pepper and garlic
powder in a separate bowl. Add seasoning to
chicken and incorporate. Set aside.

|
Cut bacon slices into thirds. Wrap each chicken
cube with bacon and secure with a toothpick. Place
on foiled baking sheet.
Stir together brown sugar, chili powder and
cayenne into a big bowl. Dredge wrapped chicken in
mixture.

|
Cook wrapped chicken on a foil lined baking sheet
(or on a cookie cooling rack with foil and baking
sheets lined below. Be careful because there is A
LOT of bacon grease collected at the end. Cook for
about 25-30 minutes. Finish skewers under the
broiler to crisp and caramelize the bacon.
