     Apple & Nut Charoset

6 red sweet/tart apples, peeled, cored, and cut to 2 inch pieces
1 c walnuts or pecans
2T sugar or honey
1/3 c kosher sweet red wine or port
1 tsp. cinnamon

Combine apples, nuts, sugar, cinnamon and wine in bowl of food processor and pulse until combined but still chunky in consistency. Do in batches.
Refrigerate in sealed container for up to one week.
