Heat oven to 375.
In a large bowl, mix together the biscuit mix and the sour cream with blender. add 7up a little at a time and mix with fork until dough forms a ball.

Sprinkle about 1/2 cup of biscuit mix on the counter to roll the dough in. Turn the dough out onto the biscuit mix on the counter. The dough will be wet, so pat on a little more biscuit mix as needed. With a rolling pin, roll the dough to 1/2 inch thick.

Melt butter in the skillets or baking pan.
Using a round biscuit cutter, cut out biscuits.(A small drinking glass will work)Dip the cutter in biscuit mix for easier cutting.

Dip both sides of each biscuit in the melted butter and place the biscuits close together in the pan.
Bake for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
