1 lb. lean ground beef

1 medium onion
|

1 (15 1/4 Oz.) can whole kernel corn, undrained

1(10 oz.) can diced tomatoes with mild green chilies, undrained
|

1 cup water
|

1 (15 oz.)can pinto beans in chili sauce, undrained
|
|
1 (1 1/4 oz.) envelope taco seasoning
|
|
1 (10 0z.) can tomato soup, undiluted
|
|
Baked corn tortilla chips or plain Doritos (I prefer Doritos)

Instructions |
|
|
Brown meat and onions in dutch oven, then drain (I like to rinse the meat in water)
|

Add all ingredients to beef/onion mixture, except for the chips and cheese
|
|
|
Cook over medium heat until thoroughly heated. To serve- Crumble a handful of chips in individual dishes and cover with a generous helping of stew.
|

Sprinkle with cheese
|

Suggestions |
|
Reduce the heat by substiting the pinto beans in chili sauce with either red kidney beans, or plain pinto beans etc.
