Mix dry yeast in 1/4 cup warm water and let set 5 minutes. Mix salt, sugar, margarine and pour scalded milk over it and cool until lukewarm. Mix yeast mixture and milk mixture well. Then add 3 cups of sifted flour and mix well. Then add 3 more cups of flour and mix. Turn out on floured board and knead for 10 minutes, vigorously, or until a satin finish appears. Put in greased bowl and cover. let rise until double. Punch down and make out in tolls the size and shape you desire. Let rise again until double in size and bake in preheated 400 degree oven 20 - 25 minutes. When brown, brush with butter and serve.
