Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180C. Line a 12-hole muffin tin
with paper cake cases. Place the plain flour, baking
powder and cocoa in a large bowl and stir well.
Whisk together together the sugar, milk, oil and egg
in a jug.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and
mix until just combined (don't over mix). Spoon into
the cases and bake for 20-25 minutes until risen.
Allow to cool completely on a wire rack.
for the icing, beat together the butter and icing
sugar in a bowl until smooth. Spread on top of the
cakes with a palette knife. Decorate with your
choice of sprinkles, sweets and hundreds and
thousands.
