In a small bowl, combine the first 5 ingredients. Pour 1/4 cup marinade into a large resealable plastic bag. Add the beef. Seal bag and turn to coat. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. Cover and refrigerate remaining marinade.
Drain and discard marinade. Grill steak, covered, over medium heat or broil 4 inches from heat for 6-8 minutes on each side, basting occasionally with reserved marinade.
Let stand for 5 minutes. Thinly slice accross the grain.
