In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the first 6 ingredients. Add the steak. Seal bag and turn to coat. Refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.
Drain and discard marinade. Moisten a paper towel with cooking oil. Using long handles tongs, lightly coat the grill rack. Grill beef, covered, over medium heat or broil 4 inches from the heat for 4-5 minutes on each side.
