Toss apples in a bowl with the dry spices. Place
in a well greased crock pot. Combine milk,
softened butter, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla and
1/2 cup biscuit mix. Spoon over apples. Combine
remaining 1 cup biscuit mi and brown sugar. Cut in
cold butter until crumbly. Sprinkle this mixture
over top of apple mixture, cover and cook on low 6
to 7 hours or until apples are soft.
