Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil & add the pasta. Bring back to a rolling boil and set your kitchen timer for 8 minutes. In the mean time, slice the sausage link on a diagonal and set aside. In a colander, rinse the peas and greens beans together under warm water & set aside. At the 4 minute mark on your timer, add the sausage to the boiling water and finish cooking. Drain the water from the pasta/sausage & return to the pot. Add the peas, green beans, pesto, parmesan cheese and olive oil to the pasta and toss gently to coat. Serve with a green salad and warm garlic knots.
