1) De-seed the peppers. Slice the peppers into
strips.
2) Slice the red onion.
3) Saute the peppers and onions with 2
tablespoons of olive oil in saute pan.
4) Add a dash of salt, pepper, and the sugar.
Continue to saute.
5) Add the red wine vinegar.
6) Saute another minute, turn off the heat and
add the remaining olive oil.
7) Slice the basil and add it to the pepper
mixture. Mix for a minute then put into serving
bowl.
