Melt caramels with evaporated milk in double boiler. Mix flour,
oatmeal , brown sugar, soda, salt and melted butter
Press 1/2 of mixture in an 18x15 inch pan
Bake 5 mins or until lightly browned at 350 degrees. Remove from
oven and sprinkle chocolate chips, walnuts, and caramel and then
the remaining crumb mixture
Return to the oven and bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes
until golden.
Cut while warm
