1- 3 lb beef brisket, flat cut, fat trimmed to 1/4 inch
1 cup cola
3/4 c ketschup
2 tb instant tapioca
4 tsp onion powder
Instructions
Microwave onions, oil garlic and thyme in bowl stirring occ. until onions are softened about 5 min.
transfer to slow cooker.
Season brisket with salt and pepper and nestle fat side up in slow cooker.
Whisk cola, ketchup, tapioca, onion powder, 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp pepper together and pour over brisket.
Cover and cook in slow cooker 9 hrs on low.
