Cut spareribs into serving size pieces, brown
in a large saucepan. Meanwhile, melt butter in
skillet, add onion and cook until light brown.
Add next 9 ingredients and simmer 20 minutes.
Place spareribs in baking pan, spread
sauerkraut around spareribs and place potatoes
around edges of pan. Pour the sauce over
sauerkraut and cover. Bake at 400 degrees until
potatoes are done.
