1. Brown the hamburger meat and drain the excess fat. Add 3/4 of
the jar of pasta sauce to the drained meat and set it aside.
2. In a small bowl, combine the ricotta and the egg together and
mix it well. Set it aside.
2. Spoon a few tablespoons of pasta sauce on the bottom of a 13×9
inch pan and spread it evenly across the entire pan.
3. Press 4-5 oven-ready noodles on top of the pasta sauce, slightly
overlapping each piece.
4. Now we’re going to do lots of scooping and spreading! Scoop
half of the prepared hamburger meat on top of the noodles and
spread evenly. Scoop half of the ricotta mixture and spread it on
top of the hamburger meat. Sprinkle 3/4 c. of the shredded
mozzarella cheese on top of the ricotta.
5. Press 4-5 of the oven-ready lasagna noodles on top of the layers.
6. Repeat the scooping and spreading of the hamburger meat, the
ricotta, and the mozzarella cheese. Press 4-5 more of the lasagna
noodles on top of the new layers.
