Roast should be at room temp. Rub meat all over with the spice mix. Place cast iron griddle on BBQ and heat well. Place roast on hot griddle. Sear all sides. Remove griddle from BBQ carefully. Put roast in a tinfoil roasting pan. Turn heat down and try to maintain a temp of about 300. Place open roaster on bbq. Check often to a temp of 120 for rare. Take meat of and tent for 20 min or so. Serve with pan juices.
