Remove 1-1/2 in from broccoli stems and discard any wilted leaves
Cut stalks into 1-in pieces
Pot of salted water to boil
Blanch broccoli for 1 mn
Drain and rinse under cold water to stop cooking
Heat oil skillet
Add chili flakes and sausage - cook 4-5 mns breaking up sausage with wooden spoon
Stir in garlic, roasted red pepper, and drained broccoli rabe
Cook 4 mns more
Remove from heat
Stir in balsamic vinegar
