Combine butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Mix to
a creamy consistency.
Combine all dry ingredients except chocolate and
nuts. Add to sugar mixture a couple of cups at a
time, use caution with mixer as it's easy to burn
out a motor on this recipe. If/when mixture
becomes too stiff for the mixer use hands. Add
chocolate and nuts by hand when flour is combined
with sugar mixture.
Make dough balls prox. 1 TBS or use a mini
icecream scooper, flatten slightly. Bake 375 10-
15 minutes on insulated cookie sheets.
