1. Preheat the oven to 400F. Line a baking sheet with
parchment paper.

2. Whisk the dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add cold
butter to the flour mixture and using a pastry cutter
or your fingers, break the butter into very small
pieces and mix with the flour so they resemble bread
crumbs.

3. Mix all the wet ingredients in a small bowl very
well. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients
and stir gently using a spatula until just combined.

4. Cut the strawberries into small pieces and gently
fold them and chocolate chips into the scone. On the
baking sheet, form the dough into a 1.5 inch thick
circle and cut into 8 wedges. Make some space between
the wedges as they tend to spread a little bit while
cooking. You can also separate them completely and
set them on the baking sheet. Brush some milk on the
scones and sprinkle some sugar on top.
Bake in the oven for 25 minutes until golden and
firm.
