Combine flour, shortening, salt, and baking
powder with your fingers or a pastry blender
until shortening is mixed in very well. Add the
water and stir with a fork to make a smooth
dough. Knead with your hands a few times and
put under a glass bowl for 10-15 minutes.
Divide dough into 8 pieces and roll out very
thin. Brown lightly on both sides in a skillet
on the stove set on highest setting. Do not
grease the pan.
