Cream butter, shortening, and sugar. Add the
eggs, sour cream, and vanilla. Beat well and
gradually add sifted flour/baking powder/baking
soda.
Put half the batter in a greased tub or sringform
cake pan. Sprinkle half the topping.
Layer rest of batter. Sprinkle with remaining
topping.
Bake at 350 degrees for one hour or until knife
comes out clean.
Sprinkle with powder sugar on top while still
hot.
Cool for 15 to 20 minutes and may eat.
