Make bread in mixer adding liquids first then dry ingredients; milk, butter, eggs, warm water and yeast, sugar, salt, flour. Add enough flour to just clean the sides of the mixer bowl.
Press auto kneed. Then place dough in a greased bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise 45-50 minutes.
To make filling, cover poppy seeds with boiling water. Soak 30 minutes and drain. Place seeds in a small saucepan with cream, honey and butter. Stir over medium heat until thick, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat. Add cinnamon and vanilla. Cool, and beat in 1 egg.
Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface. Grease large cookie sheet. Roll dough into a rectangle. Spread filling to 1 inch from edge. Roll up lengthwise, pinch edges and ends. Place seam side down on a cookie sheet. Let rise and Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes.
