Cream butter and sugar.
Add egg yolks and vanilla extract.
Add flour and mix in well.

Push dough through a cookie press, using the star-shaped disc in the press to make the wreath shape.
Shape the dough into circles, bringing the ends together. Slightly press the dough together where the
ends meet.

Once the wreath cookies are formed on the cookie sheets, sprinkle them with the colored sugar
sprinkles.
Press 1/2 of a maraschino cherry into the dough where the two ends of the wreath meet.

|
Bake on ungreased cookie sheets for 7 - 10 minutes. NOTE- Tend carefully to avoid burning them. They
can be stored in an airtight container in a cool location.
