Cream first 3 ingredients together. Sift together all other ingredients. Add dry ingredients alternately with 1/2 cup HOT strong coffee. Stir well.
Blend in raisins and chopped nuts. Place in greased 13 x 9 inch oblong pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 18 to 20 minutes. While still slightly warm frost with thin powdered icing sugar.
