Boil rotini per package instructions, undercooking
by a couple minutes.
Meanwhile, spray skillet with Pam and pan-fry sausages on med-high,
turning,
for a few minutes to brown. Turn down heat and
carefully add 1/2 cup of water. Cover and cook 10-
12 minutes. Remove sausages and slice into rounds.
Discard any excess liquid, and add peppers,
onions, (and optional mushrooms) to pan. Cook
several minutes, stirring, until peppers are
crisp-tender.
Add pasta, sausage, and sauce to pan. Stir. Cover
and simmer, stirring, for a few minutes until
sauce is bubbling and all is heated through. Serve
topped generously with Parmesan.
