1. Grease cast iron skillet thoroughly with
butter.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine butter and sugars.
Beat on high for a few minutes, or until fluffy
and lighter in color. Add in egg and vanilla
extract and beat well.
3. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking
soda, and salt. Mix well and then add to the
wet ingredients. Stir until combined and fold
in chocolate chips.
4. Spread dough into greased skillet. Bake in
a preheated oven at 350° for 20-25 minutes, or
until cookie is golden brown and edges look
crisp. Cool in skillet. Cut into pie wedges,
serve and enjoy!
