Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F.
Heat oil in a large skillet over moderately
high heat (about 350 degrees f). Add pork chops
and brown quickly on both sides.
Spread rice over bottom of ungreased shallow 3
Qt casserolle. Pour orange juice over rice;
stir to combine.
Sprinkle browned chops on both sides with salt &
pepper to taste. Arrange on top of rice.
Pour undilluted soup over chops.
Cover and bake for 45 minutes. Uncover and
bake for 10 min longer until chops are fork
tender. Careful not to overcook.
