     Beef Stew

Ingredients
1/4 c water
2 lbs stew meat
1 can tomato soup
3/4 c water
3 med carrots
4 small onions
4 medium potatoes
1/2 c celery chopped
2 beef bullion cubes
 
1 tbsps Italian herb seasoning
1 bay leaf
3 grind fresh pepper

Instructions
Pour 1/2 c water in skillet and add raw meat. Cover and cook about 30 min. Uncover and cook until dry and browned. Transfer to stew pot. Rinse skillet with the additional water (can use red wine as well). Cut vegetables into chunks and add along with rest of ingredients.
Bake at 275 for 4-5 hours or simmer on stovetop for about 3. Adjust seasoning to taste.
