saute onions, add garlic, saute another minute or
two. Add tomatoes, bean, spices and salsa verde.
Cook to thicken and allow flavors to develop 45-60
minutes. I add a bit of ground beef left over
from another dish. Serve over rice.
Can be done in a crockpot using 1 pound soaked beans, add 6-8 cups of
broth or water.
