Cur ribs into serving size pieces and place in a large kettle.
Corner ribs with water, add salt, pickling spice and sliced
onions. Heat slowly to boiling, reduce heat, cover, and simmer
for 1 hour. Remove kettle from het and allow ribs to cool in the
liquid. When ready, arrange ribs in a single layer on a broiling
pan. Combine bbq sauce and corn syrup in a cup, brush onto
ribs. Broil until nicely brown on first side, turn meat and repeat
until evenly glazed.
