Set the broiler to high. Place the peppers on a
cookie sheet and drizzle with the olive oil. Mix
to combine. Place the peppers in the oven and cook
until the skins are browned and blistered and the
peppers have softened a bit, about 7 minutes.
In the meantime, prepare the aioli. In a small
mixing bowl whisk mayonnaise, lemon juice, zest,
garlic and pepper. Set aside.
Remove the peppers from the oven and sprinkle with
salt. Serve with the aioli.
--Can also make zucchini fries instead of the
peppers, cook the same only after you cut the
zucchini into fries, dry on a paper towel before
tossing in the oil.
