Measure flour, then sift into a bowl. Add baking powder and salt. Mix
and make well in the middle.
In small bowl or large measuring cup combine milk
and egg and mix well.
Dump milk mixture slowly into the well in flour bowl and mix slowly
until well combined. The batter should be a little thicker than pancake
batter.
In a frying pan, heat oil until 350. While oil is heating, core and peel
apples and slice into medium thick slices. Sprinkle with sugar and
cinnamon on both sides.
Dredge in the batter and fry until golden brown on both sides
Drain on paper towel, then cover in powdered sugar.
