For Peas:
1. Place black-eyed peas and 1/2 cup of water into 2 quart sauce pan.
2. Cover, place on high heat and bring to rapid boil.
3. Stir, reduce heat and simmer, covered, until vegetable are tender-crisp (15-20 min.).
4. Drain, add finely chopped onions and light brown sugar (maybe even a dash of pepper).
5. Set aside.
For Rice (in rice cooker)
1. Put all ingredients in rice cooker (1 cup of water, tsp. of butter, ½ cup of rice)
and turn on, stir occasionally till fully done.
Add peas, and bacon to rice cooker when rice is done.
Mix and serve.

Pour out of cooker and put in right size bowl
