Melt 1 stick of butter in a 9x13 casserole dish. Stir in brown sugar and cinnamon. Cut the crusts off about 12 pieces of the bread and make a double layer of bread to cover the brown sugar mixture. (You might need to cut some slices in pieces to fill in spaces.) Mix eggs with milk and pour evenly over bread. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350* for 1/2 hour, then 450* for 10 minutes. To serve, just slice pieces and turn upside down onto plate. No syrup needed.
Great for holiday mornings. Use crusts to make croutons.
