TO TOAST ALMONDS IN OVEN:
Preheat oven to 350. Spread nuts in one layer on ungreased shallow baking pan. Bake 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden.
MICROWAVE:
Place 1/2 cup almonds & 1 tbsp butter in a 9 inch microwave-proof pie plate. On high, stirring every minute until brown, 4-5 minutes.
SAUCEPAN:
Place almonds in a heavy, ungreased skillet. Stir often over medium heat until golden brown.
