1 lb of shrimp, boiled and peeled plus 1/2 lb of crawfish tails, boiled and peeled
2 onions (1 medium & 1 small) chopped
1 small bell pepper, chopped
3/4 C celery, chopped
1 can sliced mushrooms
1 stick butter
1/2 C flour
1 can evaporated milk
1 can water
1 tsp sugar
1/2 lb american cheese
bread crumbs
salt & pepper to taste
dash of tabasco sauce
Instructions
Make a white sauce of butter, flour and milk.
In a separate skillet saute celery, onions, bell pepper and mushrooms. Add white crabmeat. Add boiled shrimp to sauteed onion mixture. Cook 10 mins. Add to white sauce.
Add sugar, mix. Add more milk if needed. Place in buttered casserole dish and top with breadcrumbs and cheese. Bake at 350 for 25 mins.
