Pour oil into a large heavy duty pot. Place pot
over medium heat and put three kernels into pot.

When all three kernels have popped pour the rest
of the kernels into the pot and pour sugar over
them.
|
|
|
Every 3 seconds lift the pot off the burner and
shake to ensure that the popcorn kernels and oil
do not burn.
|
|
|
Once popping has slowed, remove the pot from
heat. Sprinkle salt over popcorn and allow to
cool, then enjoy.
