1 + 1/2 tbsp. butter
|
|
1 onion, chopped
|
|
1 clove of garlic, minced finely
|
|
1/2 lb. beef, cubed
|
|
1/2 tsp. salt
|
|
1/4 tsp. pepper
|
|
1/2 tsp. paprika
|
|
1/2 cup water
|
|
1 tbsp. flour
|
|
|
|
1/2 cup beef stock
|
|
1 tomato, diced
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

|
|
|
|

Instructions |
|
|
1. put butter in large skillet over medium-high heat
2. add onion and garlic. cook until soft.
|
|
|
3. add meat, salt, pepper, and paprika. cook until meat is browned.
4. stir in water and cover. reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour.
|
|
|
5. when juice has evaporated, sprinkle with flour. stir until bubbly
6. add beef stock and tomatoes. cook together for 10 minutes.
|

|
7. add more salt and pepper to taste.
8. serve hot
|

Suggestions |
|
serve over speatzel (german noodle) or some kind of noodle if desired.
