Boil rice in large pot or saucepan as directed on packaging. Drain and set aside when done.
Meanwhile, rinse and drain both types of beans, then dump them into a large saucepan or skillet over medium het. Add all remaining ingredients, stirring well to make sure taco seasoning is well absorbed. Bring to a simmer and let cook for 5-10 minutes. Remove from heat and stir into rice.
