Put ground turkey, mushrooms, and onions along
with the seasonings, spices, and Worcestershire
sauce in a medium bowl. With a big wooden spoon
or clean hands, blend everything together, making
sure that the mushrooms and onions are
distributed throughout the meat. Make 4 patties
of equal size.
Heat the grill or a sauté pan over medium-high
heat. Spray patties lightly with cooking oil
spray and cook each patty approximately 7 minutes
on each side, until completely cooked through.
Warm the buns on a cookie sheet on the lower
level under the broiler. Put patties on the buns
and garnish each with 1 tomato slice, 1 slice red
onion, and butter leaf lettuce.
