3 cup cooked, mashed sweet potatoes..about 3 sweet potatos (You can use canned, but I use fresh)

1/4 cup butter (or margarine)
|

1/2 cup white sugar
|
|
1/2 cup milk
|
|
1 dash of salt
|
|
1 tsp. vanilla
|
|
Topping:
|

1/2 cup flour
|
|
|
|
1/2 cup brown sugar
|
|
1 cup chopped nut (opt)
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

Instructions |
|
|
Combine sweet potatos, eggs, sugar to taste (or honey), milk, salt, 1/4 cup butter and vanilla. Spread into a greased shallow casserole dish.

Combine flour, brown sugar, and 1/4 cup butter to make crumbs. Sprinkle on top. Sprinkle on chopped nuts (I use pecans).

|
Bake at 350 for 45 min.
|
|
|
If prepared ahead of time: chill until ready to bake; then bake for one hour.
