1 3/4 cup flour
|

1 tsp. baking soda
|
|
1/2 tsp. salt
|
|
1 cup sugar
|
|
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
|
|
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
|

1/2 cup butter
|
|
1 cup raisins
|
|
1 cup chopped nuts, optional
|

|

Instructions |
|
|
In a large saucepan, boil raisins with 2 cups of water for 10 minutes. Add 1/2 cup butter, let cool.
|
|
|
In same saucepan, add flour, baking soda, salt, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix well.
|
|
|
Place in 8x8 or 9x9 baking pan.
|
|
|
Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
