Remove pie crust from freezer and set aside.Core,peel and slice the 4 large apples.

Add apple slices to 1 of the pie shells and evenly spread.Evenly spread sugar, nutmeg and Cinnamon over the apple slices. Slice butter and place evenly on pie.

|
Cover pie with 2nd shell, flute edges with a fork. Use fork to poke a few holes using a cris cross pattern on top of pie.
|
|
|
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to an hour. Uncover pie edges the last 15 minutes. You will no pie is ready because a sticky syrup will form at slits,
