1 8-oz can tomato sauce, 1/2 cup chopped green onions
1 14.5 oz can chicken broth
2 cups uncooked rice (minute rice is fine)
Instructions
Heat oil over medium heat, stir in sausage, saute until crisp, about 4-8 minutes. Stir in onions, celery, and green pepper, saute until crisp, about 5 minutes.
Stir in chicken,garlic,tabasco,bay leaves, and seasonings. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly and scraping pan bottom as needed, 5 minutes.
Stir in tomatoes;cook until chicken is tender, about 5-8 minutes. Stir in tomato sauce and chicken broth, bring to a boil. Stir in green oinions and rice.
Bake,covered, in a preheated 350 degree overn until rice is tender but still a little crunchy, 20-25 minutes. Remove bay leaves and serve immediately.
